Study on Kraft Pulping of Hemp Core Fiber
This paper focused on the kraft pulping characteristics of hemp core fiber.Firstly the chemical composition of hemp core fiber was studied.Then an orthogonal array experimental design(L934)was adopted to evaluate the effect of main cooking parameters on kraft pulping.After that,a quadratic universal rotatable composite design was conducted to discuss the effects of alkali charge,temperature and retention time during the cooking process.According to the above experimental design,a polynomial model of pulp characteristics including alkali charge,temperature and retention time was set up to guide production.The results showed that when alkali charge was 18.73%(based on Na2O),temperature was 155 ℃,retention time was 86 minutes,the pulp got the best properties: yield 52.1%,kappa number 20.0,viscosity 953mL/g,brightness 38.4%ISO.The corresponding pulp physical properties were tear index 7.51 mN·m2/g,tensile index 105.2 N·m/g and burst index 8.50 KPa·m2/g.
