Definition and Measurement of Coating Coverage Revisited

Coating coverage is often used as a measure of coating uniformity in lightweight coating and to evaluate the effect of coating methods and base stock properties.However,the definition and measurement of coating coverage are rather questionable.This report reexamines the definition of coating coverage and makes recommendations on how it should be measured and interpreted.
