Uniplanar Bandpass Filter Using Slotline Resonators and CPW Feeding Lines

This paper presents a bandpass filter using slotline resonators and CPW feeding lines. Benifiting from the uniplanar structure of CPW and slotline,the proposed filter could obtain a uniplanar configuration. A novel transition between CPW feeding lines and slotline resonators is introduced,making it convenient to control the external quality factors. The detailed design procedures of the proposed bandpass filter are given. A demonstration filter of this type has been fabricated and measured. The simulated and measured results are presented and good agreements are observed.
