A New Type Nonlinear Antenna Array Design
Applications of millimeter-wave radar,imaging and communication technology requires cost effective implementation of intelligent scanning antenna systems. This paper presents the design and measurement results of a new type nonlinear antenna array based on Injection-locking theory. The required phase relation for each array element is obtained by electronic tuning through injection-locking technique,and the beam-scanning capability is demonstrated,so a shifterless beam scanning method is proposed,and an 1 X 4 element phase array verifies its feasibility.
