TREATMENT OF METHYLAMINE IN WASTEWATER BY DISCHARGE PLASMA
A wire-cvlinder dielectric barrier discharge(DBD)system for treatment of methylamine has been constructed and described.Sample solution has been sprayed into the DBD reactor.The influences of some parameters,i.e.,discharge voltage,water flow rate,reaction time,on the removal efficiency of methylamine in wastewater are investigated.Compared with conventional method by ozone,discharge plasma technology is much more effective in the treatment of methylamine.
