STUDY ON THE DISTRIBUTION OF FIELDS ON THE HORIZONTAL COUPLING PLANE IN INDIRECT DISCHARGE TESTING

摘要：

The horizontal coupling plane(HCP)and the veaical coupling plane(VCP)are essential elements of the standardized electrostatic discharge (ESD)test.They are used for testing the robustness of equipment against indirect(nearby)discharges.According to IEC61000-4-2 standard specification，firstly，this article analyzed the fields on the HCP when discharged to HCP and VCP,and then some kinds of medical equipments ale used in the ESD immunity test.According to the experiments，some conclusions are gained：1)the relationship of E-fields and H-fields with distance is different.2)the results of ESD test depending on the ESD generator.
