RESEARCH ON THE EVALUATION METHOD FOR ESD IGNITION SAFETY OF TEXTILE IN PURE OXYGEN ENVIRONMENT

It is probably that the ESD(electrostatic discharge)in pure oxygen environment could ignite some stuff like textile，which would cause severe accident.In order to evaluate the safety of textile，an evaluation method for ESD ignition safety of Textile in pure oxygen environment was introduced.The experiment system of the minimum ESD ignition energy of textile was designed.The electrostatic energy E of charged object was calculated by testing the capacitance and voltage.The minimum ignition energy εmin of Textile in pure oxygen environment can be determined through Bruceton data processing method.By comparing the maximum value of electrostatic energy Emac of charged object with the low limit ignition energy εmin/SE of textile，one can tell whether the textile is safe(which means the textile material will not be ignited)in the environment or not.
