HYDROGEN PRODUCTION BY NON-THERMAL PLASMA REFORMING FROM ETHANOL

In this paper,hydrogen is generated by non-thermal plasma reforming from ethanol and the relation for the production of hydrogen,which its fonction dependence on the plasma parameters is discussed.The conversion of ethanol is related to the initial concentration of ethanol,the flowrate and the power injection.The highest hydrogen conversion efficiency of 65%is obtained at the high voltage of 20.1kV,frequency of 10.5kHz,1.5mm discharge distance and 3.0ml/min ethanol flowrate from 75% ethanol in this experiment.A reaction mechanism is also presented to explain the relationship of selectivity to different reaction parameters.
