SEARCHING FOR GAS OR GAS MIXTURES AS SF6 SUBSTITUTES

摘要：

SF6 gas is widely used in power system due to its excellent dielectric strength and arc-quenching performance.However,because SF6 is a potent greenhouse gas，it is urgent need to reduce its use and develop alternative gases replacing SF6.Analyzing strict requirements for alternative gas，this study aims at identifying the research method of finding SF6 substitutes，proposes that friendly gas or SF6-free gas mixtures will be promising alternative gases.
