Nonuniform-Bandwidth Onboard Channelizing and Switching In Satellite Communications
This paper proposes a nonuniform-bandwidth onboard channelizing and switching architecture for broadband satellite communications. Detailed simulations are carried out to explicitly verify the flexibility and scalability of the proposed architecture. Significant performance improvement and reduction in memory size have been demonstrated, making the digital channelization technique attractive for future flexible communications satellite payload architectures.
