Cyclic Shift Interleaver for Turbo Product Codes
In this paper, Cyclic shift interleaver for Turbo Product Codes is introduced. The interleaving process has two steps which are firstly each row is cyclically shifted to right direction by specific value and then each column is cyclically shifted to down direction by specific value. It helps product code to correct the crisscross errors or rectangular shape errors and is shown robust characteristics under burst errors. It is compared with Diagonal readout interleaver and is shown that the bit error performance of Cyclic shift interleaver under a narrowband interference is better than that of Diagonal readout interleaver.
