Doppler Frequency Extraction and Estimation of Range and Speed of Moving Target
This paper presents a novel Doppler frequency extraction method based on radar signal and a range and speed estimation method of moving target based on the extracted Doppler frequency.The Doppler frequency of a moving target represents the moving characteristics of the target,the dechirp technique and FFT is combined to estimate the Doppler frequency from the non-stationary radar signal,then non-linear least square optimization method is used to estimate the range and speed of the target.The experimental results show the efficiency of the proposed method.
