Preparation of Different Anodes and Application in Electrochemically Mediated Delignification System of Chemical Pulp
Anodes made from different materials were prepared on the basis of the requirements by electrochemically mediated delignification(EM)system.The electrochemical properties and the electrochemically mediated delignification performances of the selected anodes were also investigated.The results showed electrodes with different materials had different delignification performances.The selectivity of material for electrode was based on both electrode potential and catalysis capability.All the prepared anodes in this paper had catalysis crystal in the coated layers.Among the electrodes,Ti/SnSbOx/PbO2 and Ti/SnSbOx/Pt had the highest,Ti/SnSbOx/MnO2 had the lowest,and the others had middle electrode potentials.For violuric acid(VIO)mediated electrochemical delignification the anode of Ti/RuTiOx had the best catalysis performance.The delignification percentage was 25.4% and the pulp viscosity loss was 4.7%.
