CHEMILUMINESCENCE OF 9-BENZYLIDENE-10-METHYLACRIDANS WITH ELECTRON-DONATING GROUPS BY CHEMICALLY GENERATED SINGLET OXYGEN-APPLICATION TO METAL ION SENSING USING AZACROWNED COMPOUND
INTRODUCTIONThe thermal decomposition of a 1,2-dioxetane into two carbonyl compounds, one of which is formed in the excited state, often produces chemiluminescence1.The singlet oxygenation of 9-benzylidene-10-methylacridans to produce chemiluminescent acridan dioxetanes has been occasionally investigated.
