Accuracy Improvement of Cepstrum Analysis Using Giant-magnetostriction Vibrator Applied to Non-destructive Testing for Crack of Rock Slope
Authors have had a program going on a study of the safety assessment of rock slope using reflection wave method. In this study, the giant-magnetostriction vibrator which has high reproducibility was used as a transducer to input the ultrasonic wave with strong amplitude into a concrete test piece. 1 cycle sin-wave that contains various frequencies was applied as input wave because there is a possibility that the input of 1 cycle wave that contains various frequencies produce an identical effect as the addition of results of cepstrum analysis between different frequencies which made the influence of noise less effective in our previous research. Moreover to make the influence of direct wave less effective, the cutout of the output waveform was applied. As a result,it was confirmed that the clarity of the detection of a reflected wave was greatly improved.
