Experimental Researches for the Reduction of the Atmospheric Noxes Resulted from Pit Coal Combustion in the Thermoelectrical Centrals-Romania
In the solid fuel burning process, besides the thermal energy a number of gaseous noxes degage among which the most important are: sulfur oxides (SO2),azoth oxides (NOx),carbon oxides (COx) and ashes dust. The desulphurization, and the burning gases purification has become a major problem in the last quarter of the century for many users of burning installations with pollutant emissions. The technical measurements that are described in the paper can be considered options for improving the efficiency of the existent centrals on solid fuels. The personal experimental researches presented in detail in papers, have been effectuated a pilot combustion in liquefied layer installation for coal, using some reagents for gasesdesulphurization, such as: lime, sodium hydroxide, limestone, ammoniac.
