The Optimization of the Height of Row in Medium Length Holes Blasting Design Based on Genetic Algorithms
The height of row in medium length holes blasting is a very important index that affects blasting effect and economic benefit. The height is commonly determined by physical mechanics of ore rock and performance of rock drilling machine. This paper will discuss the Beiminghe iron ore of Hanxing metallurgical mine administration as a case, research through the relation of holes length and height of the row,the fitness function of actual mining profit and optimization of genetic algorithms. It can be solved by genetic algorithms establishing optimal mathematical model according to the principle of the most profitable of aetual mining. The reasonable height of row in medium length holes blasting will be determined from an economic perspective. The results show that for a single ore block, the most optimal value of the height of hole-row is 26 meters. It is 8 meters higher than the current height of hole-row. This conclusion is coinciding with the development trend to the big structural parameters of the non-pillar sublevel caving in China.
