An on-line health monitoring technique for hydrogen reformer tubes
In this paper,based on digital image technology,an on-line health monitoring system for hydrogen reformer tubes was developed to perform non-contacting continuous temperature monitoring. This system was composed of CCD camera used in high temperature environment,image acquisition card and high-performance computer etc. It was equipped with safety protector and explosion-proof equipment in order to ensure a safe operation. Remove monitoring can be done in the control room. This system has been installed on a hydrogen-reformer furnace and worked effectively for more than 2 years.
