Experimental study on failure behavior of concrete plates under different support conditions

In order to study the fracture mechanism of concrete plates,the failure experiment was performed. The concrete plates have different supporting conditions including two sides simply supported,one side fixed and another side simply supported,only one side fixed and others freed. The corresponding relationships between displacement and rupture load are obtained from the experiment. The differences of the relationships between the vertical displacement and rupture loads of plate under different support conditions are discussed and compared. The fracture characteristics of cement concrete pavements under different support conditions are investigated and concluded.
