Finite element numerical simulation of stamping forming of crossbeam for automobile
Stamping forming numerical simulation of the crossbeam for automobile was carried out by using DYNAFORM software. It is shown that defects formed during stamping forming were wrinkle rather than crack and wrinkle. The thickness of the simulated work-piece in some relative points were comparable with that of the actual one,which proved that this simulation was reasonable and could be used as reference in practical production process.
