A SPA-VFS Model for Ecological Security Assessment of Chaohu Basin
As an important part of basin security management, ecological security assessment can improve the ability for basin ecosystem to ensure the social and economic development in Chaohu basin. However, one of the difficulties is how to construct a reasonable quantitative assess model to measure the change of the basin ecosystem security, and this article use Pressure-State-Response model to build the index system and assess grades of Chaohu basin ecological security based on consultation and investigation, then advance set pair analysis to calculate the relative membership grade which shows the accordant degree for basin ecological security assess cases to grade standard which is a variable fuzzy set,and then the SPA-VFS model is built. The results show that this basin is in a comparatively serious situation at present. Some advice is given to improve this situation, including further increasing the Investment for capital assets, science and education, improving per capita production and resident cultural quality, spreading agricultural water-saving technology, controlling the population increase and implementing megalopolis stratagem.SPA-VFS method integrates the quantitative assess information, including identical, distinct and opposite, between index cases and standard grades,Its evaluation results are reasonable and high accuracy. This method is valuable for in the types of systemic synthetic evaluation given grades criteria.
