Mixed Wastewater Treatment of Ethanol and Ethyl Acetate by UASB and CAASF Process
A combined process with UASB and CAASF was applied to treat the mixed wastewater of ethanol and ethyl acetate under the condition of organic load of 9kgCOD/(m3·d)that the COD concentration of influent is about on the level of 20000-30000mg/L.The experimental results demonstrated that a removal efficiency of about 90% of COD was obtained by UASB reactors;that of about 95% and 90 of SS and NH4-N,respectively,was reached by CAAS reactors readily, therefore the combined process have an advanmge on the degradation of organic compounds,suspended sludge and ammonium nitrogen.
