Experimental Study of Sludge Treatment Using Ultrasonic Technology in Low Power Density
This paper deals with municipal wastewater sludge,which is treated using ultrasonic technology with the power density of 0.014W(ml)-1,0.025 W(ml)-1,0.031 W(ml)-1 and 0.05 W(ml)-1.With the mentioned levels,the sludge has been treated on retention times ranging from 0 minute to 60 minutes.The result of this study shows that the dissolving percentage of SCOD can exceed 10% after the sludge was treated about 45 minutes.At the same time,the concentration of ammonia nitrogen dropped to 5 mg L-1.
