Experimental Research of Several Methods of Sludge Pretreatment

The anaerobic digestion of sludge is a very effective way of sludge treatment.Since the anaerobic digestion usually takes a long time to complete,a major means of improving the efficiency of anaerobic digestion is promoting the decomposition of mud cells and enhance its biodegradable nature.Changing the characteristic of sludge will make the following sludge digestion more easily.In this article,experiments are based on acid,alkali and microwave pretreatments at different temperatures,retention times and pH values.The results show that the effect of acid pretreatmcnt is relatively uneffective, while that of alkali pretreatment is better,with little influence of time and temperature.The best parameters for the group experiments are found pH-11,T-20℃,t=8h.For microwave pretreatment,the bigger the power,and the longer the time,the better the effect.Considering feasibility and practical operation,66.7W/L is regarded the best choice.
