CLOSED-FORM SOLUTIONS FOR THE MODE-CRACK TIP PLASTIC ZONE

摘要：

Based on Tsai-Hill yield criterion,analytical solutions of mode-crack tip plastic zone are gained for composites and isotropic material.The obtained results show the size of crack tip plastic zone is least for composites,the crack tip plastic zone of isotropic material is most and the shape is rotundity.Both of them have a symmetrical distribution to the initial crack plane.The influence of parameters α,β andφ on the size and shape of crack tip plastic zone is obvious,and the difference between crack tip plastic zone results for different parameter values is great.
