ELASTICITY SOLUTIONS FOR A UNIFORMLY LOADED CIRCULAR PLATE OF FUNCTIONALLY GRADED MATERIALS
The method developed by Mian and Spencer is extended to the analysis of a uniformly loaded functionally graded circular plate.The material is transversely isotropic,and can vary along the thickness in an arbitrary fashion.Various boundary conditions,including simply supported and two different types of clamped boundary conditions,are considered.Numerical comparison with available solution indicates a good agreement.The effects of related parameters are also discussed.
