STUDY ON LONG SPAN BRIDGE WITH EXTERNALLY BONDED PRESTRESSED CFRP SH EETS
This paper investigated the application of externally bonded prestressed CFRP sheets in sgengthening the long span continuous rigid frame bridge through FEM analysis.The continuous rigid flame bridge model is considered in the 3-D finite element analysis.Through changing the tension value ofthe prestressed CFRP sheets,we analyze and compare the mechanical properties ofprestressed concrete box girder bridge with cracks.The comparison showed that the prestressed CFRP sheets can improve the carrying capacity and decrease the crack width.
