A FUZZY VARIABLE EVALUATION MODEL OF MACHINABILITY FOR PROCESSIBLE CERAMIC MATERIALS

In this paper,based on the variable fuzzy set(VFS)theory,a comprehensive evaluation model,named fuzzy variable evaluation model(FVEM),is proposed to evaluate the machinability of processible ceramic materials.This model is applied to assess the machinability rank for the compound oxide ceramics containing lanthanide phosphate.The results show that this evaluation model is reliable and practicable.It can be used for various comprehensive evaluation problems in many engineering areas.
