NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF DYNAMICS OF FERROMAGNETIC PARTICLES IN MRFS UNDER STATIC MAGNETIC FIELDS

A micro-macro approach is proposed for the investigation of the constitutive behavior of MRFs.The formation and evolution of the microstructures of MRFs under applied magnetic fields are simulated based on particle dynamics,in which,the contribution of magnetic force,viscous resistance and repelling force,is taken into account.The corresponding numerical algorithm and program is developed.The behavior of MRFs under static magnetic fields and shear deformation is simulated and compared with experimental result.
