NONLINEAR FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS OF CONCRETE BEAMS REINFORCED WITH FRP BARS
By using ANSYS software,considering the nonlinear property of concrete materials and choosing the properly constitutive relationship and element type of various materials,the flexural behavior of concrete beams reinforced with FPR bars and prestressed FRP bars was analyzed.The variable characteristics of the load-deflection curves of the beams,load-strain curves of FRP bars and tension reinforcement were discussed in detail.The calculated results in ANSYS were compared with the test results.The results indicate that ANSYS software is effective for numerical simulation of concrete structures reinforced with FRP bars.
