A NUMERICAL IMPLEMENTATION OF GRAIN BOUNDARY EFFECTS FOR DIRECTIONALLY SOLIDIFIED NICKEL-BASED ALLOY
In this paper,we use different constitutive models to demonstrate the grain interior and grain boundary respectively to research the grain boundary effect of Nickel-based alloy. For the grain interior,a 3D continuum crystal plasticity model is used, which considers rate and temperature dependent. In order to investigate the effect of grain boundary,we consider the grain boundary as a physical layer, which is described by a visco-plasticity constitutive. In addition,we use a simple critical-strain-based criteria to model damage and failure of grain boundary due to cavitation.
