EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH ON TRANSPORT OF COALBED METHANE BY NMRI TECHNIQUE

Novelly Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Imaging (NMRI) was introduced into the research of transport of coalbed methane.The home-made triaxial osmoscope made up of non-magnetic polycarbonate material was designed and developed.The osmoscope can be placed into the magnetic bore of NMRI equipment,a series of NMRI experiments were carried out.The processes of water seepage,gas driving water and water driving gas in coal samples were real-time,visually measured.The results were obtained that the leading edge of water driving gas has inconsistency,the existence of dominance driving pathway was tested and the pathway almost kept fixed in the process.
