EVALUATION OF THE FATIGUE PROPERTIES OF BITUMINOUS BINDERS USINGA NEW TYPE OF SPECIMEN
DSR time sweep test has been proposed as a test method for the fatigue properties of bituminous binders.But adhesion failure between rotor and bituminous binder in time sweep test could generate phenomena susceptible to interfere with the true fatigue behavior.In this paper,a new type of specimen was introduced to avoid the problem of adhesion failure and to test the true fatigue response.The purpose of this paper is to illuminate the validity of time sweep with the new type of specimen as a measure of fatigue and to establish fatigue equations to evaluate bituminous binders.
