INVESTIGATION OF VISCOELASTIC AND FATIGUE PROPERTIES OF HYBRID FIBER REINFORCED SAND ASPHALT MIXTURE
A kind of Hybrid Fiber is mixed into sand asphalt mixtures in this paper.The uniaxial compression and creep/recovery experiments are performed to reveal the effect of fibers hybrid proportion on the viscoelastic properties.Test results indicate that Hybrid Fiber Reinforced Sand Asphalt Mixture has the typical viscoelastic characteristic and Hybrid Fiber containing 40% CF has prominent enhanced property.Direct shear fatigue property of Hybrid Reinforced Sand Asphalt Mixture is also investigated.Data show that the cycle numbers to fatigue failure increases with the proportion growing of polyester fiber in hybrid fiber.
