EFFECTS OF HYDRATED LIME ON THE DYNAMIC PROPERTIES OF GNEISS ASPHALT MIXTURES

摘要：

Hydrated lime is best known as an anti-stripping additive in the acid aggregate like gneiss asphalt mixture.The effects of hydrated lime and aggregates on dynamic properties of gneiss asphalt mixture were evaluated on four aggregate gradations.Testing data demonstrated that hydrated lime and fine limestone aggregate replace acid aggregate could create multiple benefits in asphalt mixtures.Hydrate lime has greatly enhanced the dynamic modulus.Some fatigue properties of mixed gradation modified with hydrate lime are superior to the limestone mixture.
