STEADY THERMAL STRESSES IN CERAMIC-METAL COMPOSITE EFBF PLATE WITH AN INTERLAYER OF FGM

Based on thermoelasticity theory, the steady heat conduction and thermal stress of a three-layered ceramic-metal composite EFBF infinite long plate with an interlayer of FGM in heating process (Ta=500K,Tb=1 800K)were analyzed by FEM and Sinpson method. The results are as follows. With the increase of the FGM layer thickness, the maximum tensile stress reduces by 33.1%.When M=1,stress curve is smooth, with the increase of M,the maximum tensile stress in the plate reduces by 34.4%,the maximum compressive stress on ceramic surface reduces by 58.8%.With the increase of FGM layer porosity P,the change of stress at the bonding interface of the plate increases, and the stress curves appear peak values.
