A NOVEL PH-SENSITIVE COMPOSITE NANOFILTRATION MEMBRANE
Positively charged composite poly2-(N,N-dimethyl amino)ethyl methacrylate/polysulfone nanofiltration (NF) membranes were prepared through interracialpolymerization of poly2-(N,N-dimethyl amino)ethyl methacrylate PDM onporous polysulfone (PSF) substrate membranes.The effects of pH on swelling ratioof the crosslinked PDM membrane and on separation performances of the PDM/PSFNF membrane were investigated.The swelling / contracting behavior of the PDMmembrane exhibited a well reversible pH responsive property.Importantly,therejection and flux of the NF membrane show pH-sensitive behavior in NF process.
