THE RESEARCH OF ENHANCE THE LOSS FACTOR IN STRUCTURAL DAMPING BY SHAPE MEMORY ALLOY

摘要：

The analysis model was presented for free-damping layer treatment which embedsSMA fibers.The formula was established for calculating the structural loss factor ofthe free damping treatment beam which embeds SMA fibers.For the free dampingtreatment beam,the variation law of the loss factor with NiTi fibers content and freedamping layer thickness has been studied by numerical simulation.The influencerule was revealed of NiTi fibers content and free damping layer thickness to the lossfactor of free damping treatment beam.The analysis results indicate that the lossfactor of the damping layer has an obvious improvement after embedding SMAfibers.
