DYNAMIC MODEL OF SEAT-BUFFER WITH MR-DAMPER IN RE-ENTRY CAPSULE
The current seat-buffer system with gemel support of the re-entry capsule is noteffective for the multi-direction landing impact.In order to improve the buffersystem,the buffer-seat with a horizontal MR damper is presented.A two-degree offreedom MR-based seat buffer model is formulated in conjunction with animproved Bingham model.The semi-actively controlled MR-Damper employs theon-off control law in response to direction of the damper velocity.Numericalresults show that the peak values of the acceleration response both the chest-backand head-pelvis direction of the MR damper buffer with multi-direction landingimpact are lower than that of the seat buffer with gemel support.
