APPLICATION OF FRACTIONAL CALCULUS ON THE STUDY OF MAGNETORHEOLOGICAL FLUIDSRHEOLOGICAL CHARACTERIZATION

Fractional calculus is used to describe the general behavior of one kind ofsmart materials Magnetorheological fluids.An expression for the fractional calculusis developed in terms of the constitutive equations.The implementation of theresulting fractional constitutive equations into the heterogeneous fluid friction lawis demonstrated,which motivated a new perspective towards the MR fluidstheology descriptions.An agreement between experimental data and the fractionalmodel has been achieved.The results show that the fractional order increases withthe applied magnetic field.
