BONE TOPOLOGY OPTIMIZATION BASED ON THE REACTION-DIFFUSION MODEL UNDER DIFFERENT BOUNDARY CONDITION
In this study,the imitation bone model implemented in supposed bone andnumerical simulation of bone forming process under the different loading conditionand boundary condition are conducted based on the reaction-diffusion model.Themetabolic bone forming and topology optimization processes are considered by usingFEM cell elimination and adding method which is governed by feedback processfrom mechanical load transfer capacity in each element such as distributions ofinhibiter and activator in bone which is evaluated from local strength.The resultsshown,that the bone mass and the topological optimized shapes are changed bychange of the both loading condition and boundary condition.
