MICROSTRUCTURE TOPOLOGY OPTIMIZATION OF MULTIPHASE MATERIAL USING IMMUNE GENETIC ALGORITHM

This paper deals with the microstructure topology optimization of periodicmultiphase materials using immune genetic algorithm (IGA).The object is to findthe optimized microstructure topology that maximizes the elastic module of thematerial,subject to volume fraction constraints of the constituent phases.Themechanism of immune system is induced into genetic algorithm with the purpose ofovercome the evolution process converging to local optima.By means of IGA andhomogenization method,two-phase materials with maximized effective elasticmodule are obtained.
