Logistics Strategy and Challenges for the Future in China

摘要：

The often-quoted adage of Good logistics is business power is very appropriate because it helps build competitive advantage.Quality products and effective marketing must be combined with effective and efficient logistics systems for long-run success and financial viability in a firm.In terms of the fast changing in the areas of logistics management recently,this paper firstly provides a perspectiveon the principles of strategic planning as applied to logistics management.Then,the focus is on strategy,especially as it is related to fonr areas:time-based,asset productivity,technology-based,and relationship-based.Finally,based on the results of a survey conducted in China,a number of futuredirections are presented that will help to look ahead and try to anticipate what tomorrows logisticschallenges are likely to be.
