The Use of Hydrogen Peroxide in Bleaching Ethanol-alkali Pulp of Aspen
The use of hydrogen peroxide in an AOpP TCF bleaching of ethanol-alkali pulp of aspen was studied in this paper.The results showed that the optimal conditions for the strengthened oxygen bleaching(AOp)were pulp consistency 10%,the pressure of oxygen 0.6MPa,temperature 100℃,time 120 min,NaOH 7%,MgSO4 1% and H2O2 1.5%.The brightness of the pulp increased significantly from 34.1% ISO to 72.2%ISO.The optimal conditions of H2O2 post-bleaching were pulp consistency 10%,NaOH/H2O2 ratio 1.5,time 120 min,temperature 70℃ and H2O2 3%.The final results of AOpP bleaching of the ethanol-alkali pulp of aspen showed that brightness increased to 85.6% ISO,kappa number,viscosity and yield decreased to 3.12,967.62 mL.g-1 and 91.66% respectively.All these properties met the need required by high brightness chemical pulp.
