STATIC ELECTRICITY IN HEATED WATER

摘要：

A body of distilled water,380 grams,has been observed to gain positive charge when heated in a hot water bath from room temperature.The charge is indicated by a potential on a capacitor which is connected to the water.The gain in charge is found to be well correlated with the water temperature rise,20°-54.4℃.The implication could be physically significant.
