Numerical simulation for the centrifuge and its reliability
The paper simulates the centrifugal settling of aggregated suspension by some necessary assumptions,starting from the basic mass and linear momentum balances for the solid and liquid phases,. The governing equations for the steady are acquired and numerical calculated by meshing and programming based on the defined conditions. The concentration and pressure profiles of different sealing zone are presented and the reliability of centrifuge is discussed.
