On Architecture of an Object-based Digital Library

摘要：

Digital object,a basic and important concept in digital library is introduced ,which is a new kind of information architecture model of digital library. The paper includes architecture of digital object,classes of object, relationship among objects and method to manipulate digital objects;all of these form systematic components of a digital library, including object repertory, handle system, user interface and retrieval system etc.
