An ASP Platforms Solution Facing Chinas Small and Medium-sized Enterprises

How to use IT in a low-cost and low-risk way is an important theoretical and practical issue for Chinas small and medium-sized enterprises. It is an important channel to solve the problem through spreading ASP model. This paper puts forward 4 kinds of ASP modes based on general value chain model of ASE According to two dimensions of regional concentration degree and business homogeneity degree, small and medium-sized enterprises can be divided into four types, namely the type of regional concentration and heterogeneous businesses, the type of regional concentration and homogeneous businesses, the type of region decentralization and heterogeneous businesses and the type of region decentralization and homogeneous businesses. Then, the demands of each type for ASP are analyzed. Based on these demands, we set up a general framework of ASP platform including two parts and four layers for Chinas SMEs.
