The Researches on Develop Mode of PB in Retail Enterprises of China

Along with in-depth knowledge about the notion of PB (private brand), many large retail enterprises in China have begun to develop the merchandises of PB. However, the develop mode of PB in retail enterprises usually exists unreasonable aspects, which affect retail enterprises transferring information to customers availably, obstructs the molding and promotion of competitive advantage of PB. This paper analyzes the created conditions of PB, and discusses the category of merchandises selection, the strategy mode and production mode of brand when retail enterprises create their PB.
