Order Processing Strategies Research for Large-Scale Modern Distribution Center with Mixed Picking Systems

摘要：

The order processing in large-scale modem distribution center with mixed picking systems (combined with the system of AS/RS, racks, pick-to-light, auto sorting, manual picking) is very complex.Differ from the usual research; we study the order processing strategies by integrating order processing together with process of replenishment, picking, delivery and equipments control. We propose a 2-phase order processing mode (Order pretreatment phase, Real-time processing phase); describe the control emphases in each phase, and describe the strategies for modifying and improving the software modules in existing WMS. In the end of this paper, an actual application based on this research is introduced.
